Notes for week 14 of 2022
I start to recover from the Covid adventures, although I am still allocating more time for rest. Spring was interrupted by haze and temperature dropping below zero overnight, but I do enjoy more sunshine.
I’ve missed almost the whole week when my team was on site. It’s an interesting outside perspective on team dynamics. It’s also still interesting how even few minutes with someone in person provides additional 3D effect on that zoom window forever. It’s not suprising at all, but it still fascinates me.
I am trying not to participate much in the REST API versus GraphQL flamewar. But the more I look at it, the more it feels like GraphQL is only successful in a very specific niche of frontend React applications.

- Asian perspective on overpopulation
- Didn’t knew Amazon EC2 T4g Instances can be used for RDS, excellent news for my small projects
- I’ve walked 10 km. I’ve been active for 4.3 hours during 7 activities. This week’s max speed was 9.2 km/h and I conquered 146 elevation meters.
