Notes for week 49 of 2021
There was a hackaton at Productboard. Somehow, this haven’t prevented me for preparing a major initiative and going through onboarding, so I had little time for anything else.
I was one of the two developers in my team and the only one willing to touch frontend, with predictable results. It was still fun: I have touched Ruby for like second time in my life and adding a button in a nontrivial React codebase with Flux is also an adventure. We managed to solve a problem, but there is still a long way to prod.
- Notion: can’t make page accessible to the org because sidebar is locked, and can’t move it to the subsection because it’s not accessible, ¯_(ツ)_/¯. Out of all software, Notion is really on its way to become the pebble in my shoes.
- D&D clone in 1995 in Czech Republic: FFFILM: Pohled na Dračí doupě v roce 1995 očima Jiřího X Doležala. For native speakers, I especially recommend the notes about woman. For non-speakers, you don’t want to know.
- I’ve walked 22 km. I’ve been active for 5.4 hours during 4 activities. This week’s max speed was 8.6 km/h and I conquered 106 elevation meters.
